Loose South Sea Pearls

Pris

Loose South Sea pearls are cultured in Pinctada maxima, the silver-lipped and gold-lipped saltwater oyster farmed across Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines — the largest pearl oyster used in commercial culture, which is why South Sea pearls reach sizes few other pearls can. This collection holds 46 live listings, from single pearls sold per piece to wholesale lots of up to 61 pearls for strand makers and designers. Sizes in current stock run 7mm to 16mm, plus a small group of 2–4mm white keshi. Shapes cover the full working range: round, semi-round, button, drop, circle and baroque. Body colours are natural — white, silver, light golden and golden — with no dye or colour treatment. Prices start at $28 for a single pearl and reach $4,741 for a premium 9–14mm wholesale lot, with most single pearls sitting between $80 and $700 depending on size, shape and surface grade. Buying loose rather than pre-set lets you inspect the pearl itself, match it to your own setting or commission, and pay for nacre rather than metal. Every pearl ships with its certificate stating species, size and natural colour.
