AAA vs AA真珠グレード
真珠 grading uses an industry-consensus AAA-AA-A スケール (with no global standardization body, unlike GIA for diamonds). Here is 何 各 グレード actually means visually and 何 you 推奨 pay.
The four grading axes
真珠 grades evaluate four traits:
- Surface — percentage of the 真珠 無料 from blemishes, pits, cracks, or wrinkles
- 光沢 — how sharply the 真珠 reflects light (鏡面 = 最良)
- Shape — how close to perfectly ラウンド (ラウンド > 近-ラウンド > drop > バロック)
- 色 uniformity — for 揃いの ネックレス, how consistent the オーバートーン is from end to end
AAA（生産者分類） specifications
- Surface: 95%+ クリーンな (5% or less of 真珠 shows minor 不完全)
- 光沢: 鏡面 — you can see your reflection clearly in the 真珠

How to tell grades apart visually
The 光沢 test: hold the 真珠 6 インチ from a window. Look for sharpness of reflection. AAA shows a clear, sharp window outline. AA shows a softer outline. A グレード 真珠 show a fuzzy or blurred reflection.
The 表面 test: rotate the 真珠 slowly. AAA 真珠 reveal no obvious 不完全 at conversational distance. AA 真珠 show 1-2 minor 表面 marks under careful 検査.
推奨 you always buy AAA?
Not necessarily. Trade-offs:
